I_OI_DOCUMENT_PROXY- open excel file even if it is open

Hello gurus,

I am using class I_OI_DOCUMENT_PROXY to read excel file into internal table in mybprogram and upload to sap. But if my excel sheet is open in the presentaion server(in ms excel), my program fails. Anyway to overcome this?

I need to keep the excel file in edit mode and upload the same in sap
